We would like to thank the Northern Ireland Fire Rescue Service (NIFRS) for calling in with the Ballee Luncheon Club to deliver a home safety talk. The various Luncheon Clubs that some of our groups host are a fantatsic way for older people to get out and about in their community, make some new friends, and find out useful and relevant information to help keep them safe and healthy. Ballykeel Together Development Association will be inviting the local Police Safety Officer to their Mature Adults Luncehon Club on 11th May at 12:15pm from Ballykeel Presbyterian Church. In Harryville, some of the Braidwater Seniors Group have completed their First Aid training thanks to Mid & East Antrim Agewell Partnership, and members of the Men's Shed took part in a Mental Health Awareness Session. Carson Project have also been busy with their recently formed Women's Group and are exploring this years theme for International Women's Day "Break the Bias". Harryville Residents Association have formed a Walking Group and had over 30 people out on their first walk.

Ballykeel 2 & District Community Association continue to run their Boxing for Fitness programme and this has proven to be so popular they have opened up another weekly session. Ballykeel 1 Moving Forward Community Group have now received exciting news that they will be getting a new Garden development on the Barra Drive green. As usual community groups in the area are keeping busy. Watch this space!
