September News - Welcome to our new Ballymena South Community Cluster website

Welcome to our new Ballymena South Community Cluster website. In this section we will be giving you the latest news and updates from our Community Groups.

It’s been a strange and difficult year with the Covid crisis turning our lives upside down. Our volunteers have proven to be invaluable and resilient during such an uncertain time. Now we are slowly but surely trying to get back to “normal” and clubs and activities are recommencing.

Ballykeel 1 Moving Forward Community Group hosted a Family Fun Day on the 25th September, providing fun and games for the youngsters. Meanwhile, Ballykeel Together Development Association are preparing to start up their Bright Stars SEN Youth Club and Illusion Dance Class.

We’ve been getting several classes set up in the community with Ballykeel residents learning Spanish and British Sign Language, Harryville Men’s Shed learning Woodburning, and a Hairdressing class for Ballee residents. Keep an eye on our facebook page for more upcoming classes.
